From serving in local government to dedicating time to Collingwood's local organizations, my diverse background in science, small business and community leadership shapes my commitment to our town's future.

Have We Crossed Paths?

Maybe we've met somewhere. I've been in Collingwood for 10 years. You may have seen me at a Rotary event. I’m currently President of the Rotary Club of Collingwood,. I’m also a friend and supporter of E3 Community Services, BMFA, Collingwood Writers Collective, and several other local organizations doing great work in Collingwood.

My daughter attended Pretty River Academy, participated in Collingwood Trailblazers Basketball, and is now a photography student at TMU.

Or you may also know me from my garden plot at Free Spirit Community Gardens. I am a past President of the local chapter of Business Network International (BNI), and have written three plays for past productions of Gaslight Community Theatre. I am also at the YMCA a lot and I am a frequent participant in lunchtime Spanish classes at the Collingwood library.

Before I Came to Collingwood...

I worked for local and regional governments in British Columbia and Virginia, served on several non-profit boards, and was a member of the Albemarle County Natural Heritage Committee advising county government.

My education includes a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology, a post-baccalaureate degree in Environmental Science, and a microcredential in Sustainability Leadership

I enjoy contributing my skills and ideas to impactful projects, love inspiring others, and I know, for certain, the best leaders are also great team players!
